Pathway Network Privacy Policy

App: Pathway Network · Operator: Veterans Pathway Project Inc · Last updated: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Veterans Pathway Project Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Pathway Network mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

Account and profile: Name or display name, email address, username, password stored as a secure hash, profile image, biography, interests, and service-related information you choose to share.

Content and communications: Posts, photos, videos, comments, reactions, messages, support requests, reports, and related timestamps and delivery information.

Purchases: App stores process payments. We may receive transaction identifiers, product details, and entitlement status needed to verify purchases, operate wallets, and deliver virtual items. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

Device and notifications: If you enable notifications, we may store a push token and notification preferences. Camera, microphone, and photo access are used only when you choose to create or share media.

Technical / operational data: Our hosting and proxy infrastructure may process standard technical data such as IP address, request timestamps, and approximate region (for security, abuse prevention, and reliability). We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

Usage and technical data: We may process interactions with posts and features, device type, app version, IP address, request timestamps, approximate region, and diagnostic information to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Face data and media containing faces

Pathway Network does not collect or generate face data for identification or biometric purposes. The app does not use Face ID data, the TrueDepth camera, facial recognition, face geometry, face landmarks, faceprints, biometric templates, or face-based authentication. We do not scan, measure, identify, verify, profile, or track a person from their face.

Users may choose to take or upload ordinary photos and videos, and that user-created media may visibly include a person’s face. We treat the entire photo or video as user-generated content; we do not extract, analyze, or separately store information about faces appearing in it. Camera access occurs only after the user grants permission and chooses to create media.

User-created photos and videos are uploaded to and stored with our cloud hosting and media-delivery providers solely to process, host, secure, and display the content through Pathway Network. Those providers process the media on our behalf; we do not share face data with data brokers, advertisers, facial-recognition providers, or other third parties. Media is visible only according to the audience and sharing choices available in the Service, although recipients may save or reshare content outside our control.

We retain uploaded photos and videos while the related post or account remains active and as reasonably needed for security, abuse investigation, legal obligations, and backup recovery. When a user deletes the content or account, we delete the media we control within 45 days, subject only to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, and backup-retention requirements. Because we do not create separate face data or biometric records, there is no separate face-data record to retain or delete.
